This is a unique garden landscape.
The site raises gently away from the house leaving it sitting in a hollow against a background of rolling Herefordshire landscape.
The House in parts is an ancient timber framed dwelling which has been added to in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The land surrounding the house was completely devoid of any feature or planting.
Paul with the owners set about an ambitious project to create a landscape which would have markers from the past 300 hundred years to create a sense of continued occupation and use.
This included a large orchard, Elizabethan style promenade and a large enclosed pavilion Garden. More contemporary areas include the gravel garden and herb garden.
This is a garden which will gentle evolve back to its original atmosphere over the next 10 to 15 years and is an exciting new English country garden.
