I am inspired by landscape, its colours, from and emotions. Alongside making gardens I paint the emotions of the places I feel a connection to. Most of this work is an experiment between myself, the canvas and the paints to hand. Often based on the landscapes I have seen when travelling I try to capture not the physical space but the emotive space I remember experiencing at the time. I am privileged to have pieces of my work in private collections in the UK and Europe.

Small series inspired by the French coastal town La Baule. 30x30cm unframed boxed linen
Agmon is the Hebrew word for bullrushes, the bullrushes symbolises renewal and the hope of the discovery. I have been watching the bullrushes marches below my village change oover the course of the seasons and have been capturing their moods and colours in a series of paintings, continuing, in this fragile and ever changing watery landscape.
